Vision for 2011

This morning, I had the opportunity to share with our church community our vision, values, and priorities for 2011. This is an opportunity I look forward to each year as I am excited about what God is doing at Rock Harbor.

I am not going to summarize our vision (you can listen to the podcast at www.rockharborchurch.org), but share with you some of the excitement.

  • I am looking forward to teaching 1 Peter in our winter teaching series. "Be Hopeful" is an encouragment to each of us no matter what we are going to face in the coming days, weeks, and months.
  • Our Community Groups are great places where people are sharing and living out authentic community together. This year will include opportunities to serve in our community.
  • We have a great group of people leading our ministries and setting our direction. Serving is good for the heart!
  • On Sunday mornings, people are connecting with one another and more importantly, with God. Our worship is inspiring and encouraging.
  • Finally, our kids and students are benefitting from strong ministries and being raised up in godly way. Thanks to all involved.

Praise God... let 2011 be for His glory.
