Allergies

It's allergy season again and it makes it very uncomfortable around our house. It also means we have to run to Costco to get large quantities of kleenex with which we practice making baskets in our trash cans. My kids take Claritan like it is candy.

I watch as my sons try to wipe the pollen from their eyes, only to make it worse. They get puffy, red, and teary. You can see the discomfort on their faces. That darn pollen!

In a similar way, sin in my life acts like pollen. I'm allegic to it. It makes me uncomfortable and it bothers me. I try to wipe it away, but it just gets worse.

I thank God that He is so much bigger than my allergies. He takes my sin away and renews my relationship with Him. It is so refreshing.
